Charles L. Shumway, DDS

Doctor Bio

Dr. Charles L. Shumway, DDS is focused on helping people get out of pain and get their smile back. He especially appreciates the opportunity to work with underserved populations and providing effective and affordable treatment.

Dr. Shumway enjoys helping nervous patients feel comfortable in the chair and leave happy. His favorite part about dentistry is building relationships with patients and helping meet their dental needs.

Dr. Shumway attended BYU-Idaho for his undergraduate studies, where he majored in Exercise Physiology. He continued his studies with dental school, attending University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where he completed a periodontal clerkship. Dr. Shumway is a member of both American Dental Association the and Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Shumway and his wife are excited to raise their two children – a 5 year-old and 3 year-old – in Billings, where they are actively involved in their church. He is originally from Idaho Falls and in his free time enjoys triathlons, camping, board games, ping pong, cooking, disc golf, and spending time with his family.
