We Offer Many Services to Help You Relax

Fear and anxiety shouldn’t keep you from getting the dental care you need. Relax, we’ve got sedation options so you feel calm and relaxed throughout your appointment.

Brewer Dental Center offers a wide array of sedation dentistry services in Billings including oral sedation, IV sedation, general anesthesia, nitrous and local anesthetic. Our mission is to keep you comfortable while delivering the dental care you need.

You’ve put off having dental work done long enough – with our sedation dentistry program, you can have all of your dental care taken care of, often in as little as one appointment. Sedation dentistry, sometimes inaccurately referred to as sleep dentistry, can help you get the smile you want without the discomfort or anxiety that you have experienced in the past.

Everyone deserves to have a healthy, beautiful, and confident smile with the ability to chew food without pain. We understand if you’ve been putting off dental work for years, but now there is a solution. Don’t let fear keep you from getting the dental work you need!

Nitrous oxide (also called laughing gas) can help you handle nervousness, pain, or gag reflex difficulties during dental procedures. Nitrous is simply a gas that you breathe in through your nose. This colorless, sweet-smelling, and nonirritating gas is the most commonly used type of inhalation sedation in dental offices. It will help you feel calm, comfortable, and less sensitive to pain. At Brewer Dental, nitrous is always free with your dental procedure.

Unlike some other sedation methods, the depth of sedation with nitrous can be adjusted and we can quickly decrease the sedative effects. No other methods of sedation give us this much control. Nitrous oxide gas is administered through a tube to a small mask that you wear over your nose. Recovery time with nitrous oxide is usually only a few minutes.

The initial onset of nitrous takes only seconds and the recovery time only a few minutes. Nitrous oxide works quickly because, unlike other forms of sedation, nitrous is not metabolized by the body. The gas is expelled through your breath in only a matter of minutes, which means the patient has no waiting period or “hangover” at the end of the procedure.

BDC will work with you to ease your anxiety and choose the best type of dental sedation for your procedure.
